πŸ“– Getting Started β€” Setup Checklist

  1. Add a client business (top of this page) β€” their portal ID + password appear once in a yellow box. Click ✏️ Edit to set the greeting script and FAQ your operators will read.
  2. Give the client their portal: https://voip.novaretelecom.com/sts-client.html β€” they sign in with the ID + password and flip their availability from their phone. They also see every message taken for them.
  3. Add your operators (Operators section above) β€” email is required, and each new operator automatically receives a welcome email with their username, password, and console link. Use ✏️ Edit to set their permissions.
  4. The operator console (operators only β€” they never come to this admin area): https://voip.novaretelecom.com/sts-operator.html
  5. Route the client's phone number: point their DID at the PBX and route it to your operator ring group (admin portal β†’ Connectivity β†’ Inbound Routes).
  6. Go live: set the sts_enabled setting to 1 β€” this turns on incoming-call screen pops on the operator console.
  7. Billing: the table above tracks each client's minutes against their plan automatically; invoices become chargeable once Stripe keys are added.
